@KnittingMittens I know the feeling and can relate! (For me it's been the works of Brandon Sanderson, starting with #Mistborn)

I guess the difference is, in the books you know it's going to turn out reasonably okay in the end, the drama is in how you get there.

How have you been enjoying #BloodAndAsh? It seems like the kind of thing I might be interested in as well...I'm not the biggest romantasy fan but my favorite book series ever probably qualifies as that genre, at least partially, so I'm always on the lookout for other good examples.

I've been retreating into #books this past week. I've read the first three #BloodAndAsh books and starting the first in #FleshAndFire tomorrow. Of course the stories are more drama filled than our world's realities that I'm trying to escape!

Third time rereading A Shadow in the Ember by Jennifer Armentrout and it is just a good as the first 2 times… love these books, potentially more than the main series #bloodandash
