Recorder player Erik Bosgraaf and guitar player Izhar Elias have asked fifteen composers they have worked with in the last twenty years to compose a miniature composition of (about) twenty seconds for their 20 years anniversary

This miniature is a homage to 'Nulla Salus', the first piece ever written for Bosgraaf & Elias by Finnish composer Antti Auvinen. The miniature has the form of a musical palindrome and therefore sounds the same played backwards and can be performed as musical perpetuum mobile, 'ma fin est ma commencement'... From this perspective it can be seen as a glorification of non-linear thinking and the processes of being a musician. EB
