A new important discovery feature has landed in the #liferea code base to be released with 1.16.8 soon: blogroll support. Liferea will try to find <source:blogroll> tags in the feed or a <link rel="blogroll"> tag from the homepage HTML. It will display the blogroll as a list in the feed view. This way you can learn whom others are following.

Have a blog and an OPML file? Ensure to link it so that feed readers and other clients (browser extensions) can find it!

I’m thinking a lot about adding a blogroll lately. I’m considering everything from a simple list to a full-blown reader experience. My WordPress installation is old enough to still have the Links Manager, so I might just use that.
