Testing a sentiment chart on the top. This is hourly data for last 7 days to show if there are any strong+sustained changes in the sentiment of the toots.
#Opensource #Cron management tool ? - I'm looking for an opensource #cron job management tool to manage a series of jobs which need to run every few minutes to keep #blogofy data fresh. Any recommendations ?
I like it to have ability to create dependency triggers, time based triggers, and have some ability to measure success/failures and notify me when they hit certain thresholds. Also, I'd like it to be part of debian package management if possible....
@sibrosan @wasabikev This is the number of people who mentioned the tag in last 12 hours. https://blogofy.com/ reviews Mastodon feeds and tracks this on hourly basis to look for patterns. The data and related tags are helpful in understanding discussions. Visit the website to see more about related content which it notices.
Its important to point out that #blogofy is only touching a subset of all Mastodon servers, focuses on English speakers more, but its statistically significant to understand patterns.
I was watching #dnd and #ogl mentioned in #blogofy and couldn't figure out what it was about. I know the movie was coming out but then I saw mention of #opendnd as well and was thoroughly confused.
My son explained that DND was recently bought by another entity and they are changing some of the licensing agreements which limits use of DND trademarks significantly. My son has been playing DND for last few years and is up in arms about it.
#Blogofy now shows hashtags associated with strong emotions !
The Crawler and the #sentimentanalysis running on a Drangon Fly #Chromebook using #tensorflow
Another long weekend, and another set of hacks :)
#Blogofy now does sentiment analysis and shows what tags are associated with happy/sad toots.
Learnt Tensorflow on the way. :)
#blogofy is significantly faster now. The tool now shows proper account names on the left.
The cost to run it had sky rocketed a bit. Not because of the crawler, but because of the architecture I picked for doing the data analysis. Changed most of that over the weekend.
I discovered @WPalant as an interesting account to follow while I was looking up writers talking about LastPass hack.
