The ACCC has taken about 6 months to issue a recall on BlendJet 2. BlendJet issued a global recall on the same serial numbers in late December '23.

I am very confused why it has taken the ACCC so long to issue this recall that is a major safety issue for Australians.

Nothing more satisfying than registering for a product recall.

My daughter really wanted to get my wife a pink Blendjet portable blender for Xmas 2022. It arrived half smashed and #Blendjet didn't send a replacement jar for several weeks. It worked OK since then.

Now it's been recalled for shoddy design and/or construction that turns the base into a steel whirlwind of maiming, and they'll be replacing it a second time.

Serves them right.
