As much as I loved #Blaseball and was really sad when it suddenly and unexpectedly ended, I am kinda glad (now) that it ended when it did, before all this AI shit happened.

For me, that pretty quickly breaks the connection to #blaseball, and sours me on the enterprise as a whole. They've owned it at least, and have removed some of the most egregious uses (each player used to have a portrait). I'm not sure what to do with this knowledge honestly.

It's no secret that I miss #blaseball dearly, particularly since I already loved baseball, its pale imitation. I'm not really into other sports that much.

Making a solid attempt to get back into #baseball this year, so I took the family to today's #orioles game, and oh man it was a wild one. Felt good to be back at a stadium, even if deep down I still long for the return of #blaseball. 🌞

(My 6yo did get really excited any time the scoreboard showed a "maximum blaseball" moment, aka a 3-2 count with 2 outs)
