An outdoor gig with forecast evening temperatures over 30°, expected attendance 30,000, rationed access to water and limited shade, during an official red warning for extreme heat and advice from transport companies not travel - because IT IS NOT SAFE

Some of this summer’s gigs scheduled for #CardiffCastle have been moved to this new #Blackweir venue. The castle has a capacity of singing like I guess 8000. I haven’t looked it up. Blackweir is promoting 35,000 tickets. On a flat piece of grass. No rake. No vantage points. That represents a significant downgrade to me. Fucking can’t stand stadium-sized gigs but they’re even worse if held where there’s no fucking stadium to view from. #Ticketmaster is not offering refunds.
