I enjoy listening to Black Diplomats podcast. It is one of my favourites. Terrell Jermaine Starr who hosts the show has such a big heart. Be it Ukraine, Palestine, US or Iran Terrell will treat the subject with respect and dignity centring the oppressed. His choice of guests is great. I always learn so much from listening to this podcast.

The last two episodes are about Ukraine and US politics. The latest is a wonderful conversation with Olga Tokariuk about her trip to South Africa to speak about Ukraine and learn about South African history and anti-Black racism.

The second to last episode features Kimberly St. Julian-Varnon, my favourite guest on Black Diplomats. She and Terrel talk about African refugees fleeing Ukraine at the start of the war and about Navalny's death.

This podcast is a must for anyone who wants to follow global affairs but finds mainstream coverage soulless and dry.
