La slasher movie primordial. Aún arrastrando muchas formas e influencias del giallo pero ya rompiendo con algunos de los recursos establecidos (no hay whodunit ni revelación de identidad del asesino, algo que el género terminaría recuperando en algunos casos), estableciendo otros que serán tradición (el asentar la trama en relación a una fecha señalada/festividad, la final girl, etc.) y aun manteniendo frescura por la ausencia de otros recursos que no serán codificados hasta cierta noche de Halloween un par de años más tarde. Esto juega a favor de la película, permitiéndole mantener un aire de impredecibilidad que otros ejemplos del

𖤐 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕾𝖜𝖎𝖋𝖙𝖎𝖊 𝕭𝖚𝖙𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖗 𖤐While I’ve always enjoyed the 1974 #BlackChristmas, I’ve also always said I’m not the biggest fan of the film.
Yet, here I am, watching it again, like I do every year. I think I like this movie more than I realized.
I can say though, it’s the #BobClark #Christmas film that I do like. I fucking hate #AChristmasStory!
