Summary of analysis on our bobolink field experiment, done in central Maine. We are using audio recording to identify certain bird calls, in this case a female bobolink, in order to identify most likely nesting areas. This will help willing land owners to preserve optimal blocks of the field for nesting. We are working with Ag Allies.
Bobolinks are ground nesting birds that nest in open grasslands, one of the most threatened habitats.
