A bird chose our orchard for their offspring. I found the eggs 9 days ago. They're still there ☺️ but I wonder who's going to hatch here as I couldn't find a corresponding photo.

The eggs are almost as large as small chicken eggs. Maybe I should install a camera trap. 🤔️

I guess I won't be using any of that potting soil anytime soon. There are three tiny eggs in the nest so far - I don't know how many the mama wren is going to lay before she starts sitting on them.

Das "Bird's Nest", eine Stunde von Dallas entfernt, ist eine TinyHouye-Community nur für Frauen.

In Deutschland gibt es inzwischen auch ein paar TinyHaus-Dörfer, meistens bei kleinen Gemeinden gelegen.

Es gab eine Initiative in Hannover, die aber aufgegeben hat, weil die Stadt kein Grundstück im Stadtgebiet zur Verfügung stellen wollte.

Coburg fing vor einigen Jahren an, "zum Test" an, auf einzelnen Grundstücken, die zu klein für "normalen" Mehrgeschoss-Hausbau sind, TinyHäuser zuzulassen.

In Lübeck entstehen vier oder fünf "Reihen-TinyHäuser" im Hinterhof einer Wohnanlage.

In Dresden gab es von Thomas Löser mal eine Anfrage, ob TinyHäuser gebaut werden dürften und von der Stadt dafür Fläche zur Verfügung gestellt werden würde.
Was heraus kam, weiß ich leider nicht.
