Foetal data collection was used extensively near the front lines. Easily cobbled together from warscrap a unit could be plus hidden near, or even behind lines, to collect a vast arraywise amount of data.

This unit was discovered nearly 7 decades post Conflict, dutywise collecting data with no uplink to receive the stream.

Syncasters were doubleplus insidious. Appearing in the last decade of the Conflict, these biomech passive attack entities would render several km square effectively dead.

Dropped into a populated area these units used recently dead gray matter as a neural brown noise weapson. Amplifying and broadcasting the full spectrum of the reactivated brain's misfired synapses into the attack zone. Within days any higher functioning mammal would be reduced to a dysfunctional zombie ready to be invaded and wiped out. This gave the attacker an area plus ripe in resources they desperately needed.

The Omega S is still one of my favourite pieces ever. I rarely get attached to a piece. This is the only one I've ever kept. Going to be sad when I have to give it up for good. Hopefully I'll find a good home for it sooner than later.
