In my early years, I grew up with alot of #passion and #enthusiasm for #science and at high-school did a #sciencesubject combination, at college persued #biologicalsciences
Am grateful that in my late years I am promoting Science in my community through education, not that I don't value #arts but feel more inclined to Science.

With Science, we can progress

Researchers in the #BiologicalSciences and #AgricultureSciences, who work with image data and want to improve their data management workflows, can now access the material from the workshop on "Image Data Management in the Biological Sciences and Agricultural Research."

Michele Bortolomeazzi and Christian Schmidt from @nfdi4bioimage led the workshop together with Lucia Vedder and Paul Peschel from the @FAIRagro Konsortium.

The #Prideparade in #Berlin took place on July 26, 2025, in a #colorful way with the motto "#neverquietagain." Politicians worldwide currently seem divided on whether they want to support #diversity. But the #selfconfidence of #LGBTQ+ continues to grow. Even in previously intolerant professions like the #biologicalsciences (see link to my + colleague's #prelightarticle).

My + colleagues #prelights #article about the acceptance of #LGBTQ+ biologists in #biologicalsciences based on a #preprint. #Researchers from Arizona (USA) conducted this first specific #survey, coming to the conclusion that gays, lesbians, and bisexuals now feel largely accepted in the biological sciences, unlike about ten years ago. #Gendernonconfirming people are still #lessaccepted.
