Just finished reading Jacek Dehnel's LaLa, a novel. A warm tribute to his Grandmother, written with humour, pathos and genuine respect for an extraordinary woman. I loved it. My eastern European roots reached for similarities and recognisable family discussions and experiences. A wonderful read.
