Photo 2 was completed today, ready for the birth of my granddaughter. They have named this bear #Ruth.

I’m a bit disappointed with myself for conforming to gender colour norms, I’ll be honest. But also, all newborn babies look like grumpy old men don’t they, so at least the pink may counter that slightly!

1. This could have been a 5-parter. We're only seeing 10% of the work involved. Esp. around the custom solder/printer.
2. The lads are much better than they give themselves credit. Nick's manual soldering is top notch.
3. The custom PCB is pure madness, there's loads of OTS boards they could have used.
4. Ditto, servos.

I'm guessing they're doing this to prove the point that even in the absence of old boards (or replacing Lucas components) DIY or maker fixes are viable.
