selfhosting.couchsurfingTrump's cuts to SNAP (food stamps) are rolling out faster than I anticipated, so I suspect I'll be kicked off in a couple weeks - but with a little luck on the weather, plus having my bike back on the road thanks to #biketooters, I was able to hit 2 food banks in the past 2 days and get stocked up a bit for the coming winter.
I have enough energy to process some of the perishables, so yesterday & today I'm making broth, applesauce (for baking), and hard-boiling eggs.
I think I might have stabilized my situation with sensory issues and cognitive problems enough that I can start getting more work, so I'm just trying to give myself as long a runway as possible once I get cut from SNAP for not being considered sufficiently disabled π
I haven't posted about it much on this account but I've finally done a lot of work to get my calendar/tasks/email situation back under control - as in, checking them at all, and having the right software working in the right way - which as anyone with a job (especially freelance) knows, is kinda critical.

Olly Womumpβ¦of course I was heading to βFietser door de bomenβ! A bucket list ride. I was describing it to friends and family, and mostly, they were extremely nonplussed. βWhy?β. But, #biketooters, you are my people. There is no reason to build a spiral ramp for bikes up into the canopy of the trees and back down again, but, excuse the language, itβs fucking amazing. I said in the vid that it reminds me of Oakwood in Pembrokeshire, but on reflection, it has a Center Parcs vibe too. In any case. Wow. 8/n

in today's #Bikenite, I've changed the standard rear light for wireless directional lights which I need for city commuting in bidirectional narrow streets and crossings where there's no bike line. I think ebikes should include them from factory. π€·ββοΈπ¦π² BTW I took the photo very close, but it's a blink arrow seen at some distance.
