#Basingstoke Borough Council's 2016 Cycling Strategy had a target to double cycle trips to work over 10 years. I should probably contact them to ask how that's going given that between it and the subsequent LCWIP, nothing really has changed in terms of producing joined-up high quality cycling infrastructure.

this seems like a gimmick, but if it can persuade more motoring parents to let their children cycle or walk to school then great. I also dislike the use of the word "superhero" to describe anyone without magical powers.

unimpressed with a campsite that I am thinking of booking. They forbid cycling on their internal roads including the road to the shop for the safety of other campers, obviously they don't forbid cars or camper vans on those roads because they're safe.

This is a neat idea: redundant chains instead of a derailleur. Only one set of ring, chain, sprocket is engaged at once. Buffalo bike designed places and times where bike infrastructure is sketchy.
