My bike trip in Denmark is approaching.

I’m very excited about it because it’s the first time I’ll be riding long distances!

My first ride will be along the coastline, so I hope to see some great views, capture some nice photos, and create lasting memories! Maybe I’ll even see some seals! #bike

Yesterday was a very exciting day. I went on the longest #bikeride I've ever done: 72 km! My planned route took me to 'Bergisches Land' (mountainous land), which certainly lives up to its name. It was quite a lot of uphill and downhill. Here are my eight favourite pictures from this ‘journey’ 😊

Went for a 100K bike ride after work yesterday. It all went fairly well and the legs felt good during the ride.

However, I bonked when I arrived home (better there than on the road!) and got quite nauseous afterwards. Had to force myself to eat something. The legs still feel sore today and I'm tired. And have to work.

Perhaps it would be better to leave the heroic longer rides for weekends or days off. Might have to rethink my strategies a bit.

Yesterday, I cycled to #Düsseldorf's #MedienHafen (Media #Harbour). There is a lot to see there, especially the #architecture, which is varied and interesting. And colourful 😊
The MedienHafen is home to more than 700 companies and star architect Frank O. #Gehry created a real Düsseldorf landmark with the three-part, organically designed building ensemble Neuer Zollhof (pictures 3 and 4).

Just in time before #SilentSunday ends (at least here in Germany) 😅
Today's #bikeride took me to 'Haus Horst' in #Mönchengladbach. It looks beautiful, especially when you consider that this former #knight's residence was first mentioned in a document dated 15 January 1338.
In 1988, a private clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychosomatics was established here.
