In modern, quality steel bicycle frames (gravel, hardtail) there seems to be a split in dropout design.
- Sliding dropouts (allows fixed gear, variation of geometry)
- Fixed axle position (little lighter, looks better)

But yeah, I have two client bikes I'm working on. Because of where they live and being the hedgecutting season, I swapped their tyres for #Schwalbe Marathon Plus.

Swapped the lady's pedals to #Crankbrothers Stamp 0, in the right size, and changed her stem cap and put her drivetrain in the ultrasonic cleaner.

Her 10yo #Cannondale looks gorgeous now!
