Et le pire, c'est qu'il a en partie raison ! Les cyclistes et piétons sur l'avenue de la république se trouvent effectivement constamment en conflit, et personne se sent en sécurité sauf les conducteurs. Mais c'est parce qu'ils partagent une petite partie de la voirie, qui reste dominée par quatre voies de voitures et du stationnement en plus.
Des idées reçues, mélangées avec une bonne dose de colère et voilà, un discours complètement inutile et frustrant.
Tristement, cette structure de discours est là plus courante. Cherchez «bikelash» sur internet pour en savoir plus. Il y a aussi une super description du bikelash dans le livre (en anglais) "Life after cars". On en parlera aussi dans notre prochain bulletin.

We won't take the bait.
We will take the lane.
We'll stay calm, deflect back to #Centurion breach of 2.9M Albertans' privacy, the election boundary #gerrymandering, the UCP-fomented attacks on Canadian confederation, and pedal on.
Bad news for the US (although similar cuts are happening also in other places) but there might be silver lining:
