Hail and rain
The weather forecast predicted light snowfall which quickly turned into heavy hail and rainfall. Luckily only for the first 25min. After that the sky cleared and water mostly sprayed up from the cycling path.

Technophile problems
Today on my way to work the battery of my rear derailleur ran out of juice.
"No problem" I thought, "just swap in the spare I am carrying."
As it turned out I hadn't charged the spare since the last time I swapped them.
"No problem" I thought, "I can charge them at work with the charger I am also carrying".
So I made it the last two kilometers to work without shifting.
As it turned out I didn't have a micro USB cable at my desk (anymore).
Luckily a colleague had one to charge their bike lights.
Problems I wouldn't have had with a cable actuated derailleur.
