I already have a folding bike... I do not need another bike, much less two... I do not want to put a bunch of work into repairing a bike...

Had a breakfast date by bicycle (at a truck stop), dropped Wife off at work. Rode the fun way down the Mississippi River Trail, then back up the bluff to pick up some things at Walgreens on my way back home.

These rich white suburbs here have built a lot of bike paths, but they aren't maintained once they put them in. The asphalt is falling apart and they are hard to ride on. If the roads weren't 40 mph it'd be easier to ride in the street. Also, the paths don't really go anywhere. I have to find a path going more or less in the right direction, then get off that and ride on the surface streets till I get to the next path to where I want to go.

Sunday's ride. Here is our tandem recumbent e-trike rig in action. We rode two suburbs over to get to a Freewheel Bike shop. We rode through Carver Lake Park in Woodbury MN and found out they have a bike park with pump track and mountain bike trails. We stayed on the paved paths, since our rig isn't very good off roading. I should have eaten at the Hmong deli, I got into accidental cheese at the sub shop where we stopped for lunch. Owie tummy today, but the ride was good!
