Empire Kosher Poultry, Inc, the largest Kosher Chicken Plant in the United States, is located in my hometown of Mifflintown. According to the last census, the entire county lists no Jewish citizens, but as a teacher, I experienced few Mondays in which a co-worker didn't brag about "jewing" someone down in price at a weekend sale.
