By far the largest portion of it is #Coal
It has also become the largest producer of power from nuclear plants ..

so spare us the "renewable" marketing and stick to the oil/gas dependency. With #Russia next door and in good relations with them, the last thing #China is worried about is a #Trump induced #OilShock

Exactly what the US wanted, to provide #Iran the justification to block oil exports from the gulf and therefore itself which the US couldn't achieve without breaking its alliance with Gulf states. Whether this matched an #Israeli agenda was insignificant to #BigOil
