Gets low ratings on IMDB, my partner was not entranced-but I was!!!! Sure it's sort of a weird vague journey, that gets a little weird, a little erotic, a little bit feminist. We were joking that maybe the Sooska, the creature featured here, was really a cult of lesbians in the woods, or it's where all the bored, disgruntled housewives go when they've had enough entitled assholery. Lol. Kinda but not really. I swear, I wanted to be on that road trip, checking into those Quaint but not....mainstream hotels, or dancing with an elder female magician. Somewhat David Lynch like. Man, I must be weird to want to go down that acid trip of a journey, but hey....
This might resonate with a few folks. It's slow, but moves, you do get to see the cryptid right away. It does wrap up pretty well, or well enough.
