'“CODO A CODO 2” San Antonio, Tex-Mex. USA
This mural is a reversion of one I painted in Miami in 2015 for @wynwoodwallsofficial .As in the previous one, I was invited to work in one of the main immigration destinations of the United States. For this reason I decided to reinterpret this work in San Antonio, TX. Although they have different backgrounds, both communities, in addition to a common dream, carry with them the sounds, the colors and the flavors of their homelands, along with the challenge of integrating and preserving their traditions in a society that tends towards homogeneity. The composition was inspired by a poem written by Mario Benedetti that refers to camaraderie, to those who fight side by side for a better life and in which standing together "elbow to elbow, we're much more than two" Big thanks to everyone who participated in one way or another in making this mural possible... especially to Lisa Wong (Rosario's restaurant) and Andy Benavides who "trustearon" my work!!' @inti.artist September 6, 2023

"INTI, whose name means the Incan sun god and the Quechua word for ‘the Sun’, gives a special orange/sun glow in his works, which has become his Moniker of sorts, INTI’s style is not only unique and outstanding but thoughtful and calm; the combination of bright Latin colours and the Ancient South American culture is stunning."
