Flatlands - (FINAL) Day 20: Heinsberg -> Kaarst (51 km)

The last stage of our tour was through the fields back to our starting point 3,5 weeks ago, where my 95 years old mother lives. She says that we are crazy to cycle so much, even if she probably cycled more in her entire life than me in mine (yet).

En #CostaRica ando en #bici. Pero soy más como los "pobres peones que ni siquiera tienen unas monedas para coger el bus" y no como los que siempre andan como deportistas, que llevan la bici en su carro del año en una parilla extravagante a su lugar y que siempre se visten con lycra y casco! ;-) "QUE NADIE SE EQUIVOQUE, SOY UN RICO DEPORTISTA"

Una cosa que me ha llamado la atención: Acá nadie conoce el timbre (o pito) de la bici!
Si le das al timbre es como si no hubieras hecho nada.
Mientras que en Europa cada niño ya sabe lo que es y que significa. "Cuidado, por favor, no corte mi camino."

Leaving #Maastricht without visiting the #church that has been converted into a huge #bookstore with a #café would have been a... sin. Later, as we crossed the Dutch-German border, we noticed that of the four countries we visited on this trip, only #Germany marks its territory with a border sign.
