Punjab government finishes phase 1 of Ferozepur Feeder Canal repair. Farmers in Malwa districts will get more water for crops. Project cost ₹180 crore.

The Ferozepur Feeder Canal can now carry 2,681 more cusecs of water, which is a nearly 24% increase in capacity. This is a big change from before the repairs.
