Act 2 is done!
I really enjoyed this part of the game. The larger plot is all starting to come together and there was a lot of good character quests and moments for the companions.
The gauntlet of shar stuff was probably my favorite part of this act. That Balthazaar fight sucked though and I thought he was way tougher than the actual big bad boss fight for act 2.
Towards the end of this act I did manage to get an ending to the game after telling a companion to blow themselves up because I didn't think they'd actually do it lol
I'm still having a lot of fun play it and will hopefully get to start up act 3 tonight.
Good morning everyone βοΈ I'm just up after a nice long lie, courtesy of Grant and the parrots. The wind and rain made for good snuggling up in bed π I wouldn't say we had any storm as such though, more of just "weather" so I think we got off quite lightly.
We didn't end up playing co-op BG3 yesterday as it was a lovely day and Grant wanted to make the most of it by going birding up the woods, so I ended up playing by myself. I realised that I had named by character in our co-op with my grandson the same name as my single campaign Bard, so I had two of the same name. This annoyed me and, being a serial restarter, I deleted my Bard campaign and started a new one instead βΊοΈ
You can use the magic mirror to rename your Tav, but it doesn't rename the campaign itself and that would have niggled away at me. Good excuse for another restart anyway, and I finally managed to get the achievement for killing Commander Zhalk on the Nautiloid, and have already had a conversation with Astarion I've never experienced before - the game continues to amaze me with its depth!
Plan is to play the co-op campaign with Ethera and Grognak today now as I don't think my grandson is available anyway. We have vegan chicken Kiev's and some potato things lined up for lunch.
Have a really lovely and restful day, whatever you get up to.π€
The first time I played BG3 with friends, the oathbreaker Paladin showed up to cuss out our Paladin and our rogue tried to pick pocket him.
We all died.
Good morning everyone π I'm up early with the parrots again today and am currently sitting having a lovely wee cuddle with Ziggy, who christened the java tree yesterday! In her attempts to avoid being put back into her cage after the vet visit she flew over and landed on it and then tested every branch all the while making her "Tee hee hee" sounds βΊοΈ She's not been on it since, but now she knows she can escape to it I'm sure we'll see more use.
All the parrots are in fine fettle this morning after their "Adventure Time" yesterday. It's a big ordeal for them so they were tucked up to roost by 5 PM yesterday totally tuckered out. I was a bit tuckered out myself I must admit π
I'm off to the post office this morning and then Grognak and Ethera will be out causing chaos in Grant and my co-op BG3 session. Unless my grandson fancies a game from Uni, in which case we'll be doing that campaign instead.
Have a very lovely day, whatever you get up to π€
Oath of the Crown paladin is closest I can get to a knight. I probably should have done oath of vengeance but I'm not really gonna play her anyway I just find this orc model hot AF hahaha
Yeh I made Mazoga from Oblivion lolπ
