We’re inviting you to Round II — this time we’re keeping it local.
Winter is a harsh time for people living on the streets and for those struggling with poverty.
Since 2011, GY DZIUNG NORBU FOUNDATION has been cooking and serving vegan meals twice a week on the streets of Warsaw.
Their work supports people experiencing homelessness and those in the most difficult financial situations. In addition to food, they also distribute clothing, medicines, cosmetics, and other much-needed items. More information can be found on their channels.
To show our respect and support for their work, we’ve decided to donate 100% of the door proceeds from this event to the foundation.

Srdečně vás zveme na osmou benefiční večeři na podporu Solidrones, která se bude konat ve středu 18. února. Solidrones dále dodávají drony ukrajinským antiautoritářským skupinám, které čelí ruské fašistické agresi. A my jim dále chceme v této snaze pomáhat. Budeme rádi, když nás opět podpoříte a přijdete v hojném počtu na benefiční akci. Můžete se těšit na veganskou svíčkovou se seitanem a houskovým knedlíkem. Součástí večera bude i promítání filmu Belki Sibe o Rojavě (viz anotace)
Belki Sibe je film dobrovolnického vojáka. Sleduje osmnáctiměsíční cestu válkou a revolucí v Rojavě, v kurdské části severovýchodní Sýrie, během postupu a vítězství Syrských demokratických sil nad ISIS. Součástí je i příběh Mezinárodního praporu svobody, u něhož byl režisér převážně nasazen. Film zachycuje vojenský život a boje na frontových liniích, stejně jako civilní život v zázemí a společenskou transformaci, o niž se pokouší Autonomní správa. V obou těchto rovinách hraje výraznou roli osvobození a posílení postavení žen. Film sleduje časovou osu od července 2016 (bitva o Manbidž) do konce roku 2017 (osvobození Rakky a pád Islámského chalífátu), zároveň však na konci každé kapitoly obsahuje i aktualizace formou krátkých posunů do budoucnosti z konce roku 2021.
We warmly invite you to the 8th benefit dinner in support of Solidrones, taking place on Wednesday, February 18. Solidrones have been providing drones to Ukrainian anti-authoritarian groups resisting Russian fascist aggression, and we want to continue supporting this vital work. Join us in solidarity and come along in large numbers. You can look forward to a vegan svíčková (candle sauce, haha) with seitan and dumplings. The evening will also include a screening of the film Belki Sibe about Rojava (see synopsis).
Belki Sibe is a volunteer soldier's film. It unfolds an 18 month journey through war and revolution, in Rojava Kurdistan NE Syria, during the advance and victory of the Syrian Democratic Forces against ISIS, including the story of the International Freedom Battalion, where the director was primarily deployed. It depicts the military life and battles on the front-lines, as well as the civil life at the rear and the social transformation attempted by the Autonomous Administration. In both fields, the role of women's liberation and empowerment is prominent. The film follows a timeline from July 2016 (battle of Manbij) until the end of 2017 (liberation of Raqqa and demise of the Islamic Chaliphate), but also includes flash forward updates from late 2021, at the end of each chapter.

Viviamo una fase di accelerazione globale verso la guerra, che non è solo un evento militare, ma un progetto politico fondato sulla violenza contro i più deboli, siano essi popoli o classi sociali.
Un’economia di guerra imposta dall’alto viene elevata a ideologia e strumento di governo.
Da qui al 2035 le spese militari aumenteranno fino al 5% del PIL e proseguirà lo smantellamento dello stato sociale, scaricando sulla popolazione il costo della guerra imperialista.
Alla guerra tra Stati per il controllo di risorse e terre si affianca la guerra contro i popoli: repressione del dissenso, precarietà diffusa, controllo sociale.
Miliardi destinati ad armi ed eserciti, mentre sanità, scuola, difesa del territorio e servizi pubblici vengono sistematicamente impoveriti: questa è la loro priorità, questo è il loro modello.
Le mobilitazioni degli ultimi mesi contro il genocidio del popolo palestinese hanno incrinato questa narrazione, mostrando l’esistenza di una frattura reale e di un blocco sociale capace di organizzarsi e incidere.
Dal rifiuto netto della guerra e del genocidio, dalla solidarietà internazionalista con i popoli oppressi, è emersa un’indisponibilità radicale, resa concreta dalle mobilitazioni di massa che hanno attraversato le strade della nostra città.
È nei territori che si manifestano gli effetti concreti del sistema di guerra ed è qui che possiamo costruire un’opposizione reale, attraverso pratiche quotidiane di solidarietà, lotta sociale e costruzione di comunità politica. I nostri territori non saranno sacrificati sull’altare del riarmo e dell’economia di guerra.
Nelle regioni periferiche, come la Calabria, abbiamo già costruito una forza collettiva, mentre loro militarizzano, noi rivendichiamo vita, diritti e futuro.
Riallacciamo quelle istanze, rafforziamo uno spazio comune di discussione e mobilitazione contro il governo della guerra e il sistema che lo sostiene, attraverso le pratiche che caratterizzano le nostre organizzazioni e realtà associative.
