@silveraura7 I saw you posted this about a year ago, but as far as #HandChimes, I might be able to give some pointers to other #Blind #BellRingers out there who could use thek. I don't have experience with standard #HandBells though.

Rang for the service celebratomg the 30th anniversary of the ordination of women. A good reason to ring and with our first lady bishop it felt like something worth ringing for.

As Americans come together thankful, let us remember those who don't have enough. If you can, send a donation to the mission near you, write a check to the Salvation Army, or pack a bag or box for the food shelf. It makes all the difference in the world. Choose good foods, not just the stuff you don't like. Package the fixings for a casserole together. Think about what foods made your childhood better.

Sir, Regarding your article “A peal goes out for trainee #bellringers” (Oct 22) can I add my support and suggest readers hie to their nearest active bell tower tomorrow. Two months into my own training I can vouch it is the most extraordinary experience. You make music without being a musician, connect with your heritage, learn arcane bell-language, commune with ringers and get a very respectable upper body workout into the bargain. When you pull just right, and the bell swings just right, it feels out of body, like you’re swinging up with it; it’s gently pulling you and you’re gently pulling it. Well, it’s sexy.
