Progress on the FOH OpenSoundMeter matter. Got me the Behringer X-Live card so recording is done straight to the SD card from the console and the USB interface is free to do OSM tasks.

Somehow this was the easiest/cheapest way of doing what i wanted. Testing turned out ok. Have to set up the OSM settings to show what i want but we're getting there.

Very excited to next live gigs with this setup. Developed some things for the "performance" part of live mixing. ๐Ÿค˜

(If you want a modest capable FOH guy and you even can pay for it a little, hit me up!)

[FOH nerdiness incoming]

Setting up my good old X32 for an upcoming live-job. (Yes, Wing, A&H blabla. I got the gig with this so it seems to be ok. Will upgrade when needed.)

I want to be as slim as possible gear wise without missing some benefits. Doing some positioning tries with all the stuff but not really happy yet. Separate FOH rack should be avoided if possible. But atm this is really messy.

๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’ป #Linux on the Behringer X32: Because nothing screams "cutting-edge" like cramming a 30-year-old OS into an audio mixer. ๐ŸŽ›๏ธ๐ŸŽฅ Why do it? Well, why not? I guess it's 2025, and the quest for tech irrelevance marches on! ๐Ÿ™„

Second gig with #KoraWinter at #KulturLounge in #Leipzig was awesome! Been to this venue before, great gear and sound, as well as super helpful and patient staff. Shout-out to Pierre and Flo!

Recorded this gig with the #BehringerX32 but couldn't manage to record the ambience mics even though we had enough channels. Some weird routing issue we couldn't figure out in time...

Lot's of people attending, awesome vibe and crowd movement. These are the kinda gigs I like.

@bassplayer

Eh, this is a problematic question for me as I'm currently moving away from DAWs for #MIDISequencing, I'm trialling an #MPCX or I might even go back to my #AtariST.

But, at the moment I'm using #StudioOne with #AggregateAudio stacking a #PresonusQuantum and #BehringerX32 for my outboard.

One day, I'll get back to the timing I had in the '90s... one day...

The other great thing about Studio One is that when I use it with my aggregate audio device (#PresonsQuantum + #BehringerX32 for all my synths and drum machines), I can still get ~3ms latency with a 128 sample buffer, 16bit, 44.1KHz. (That's on a Mac Studio.)

Which means I can livestream easily with no playing weirdness.
