Begonia, Oh Deer!

I was sent a video of a deer eating a begonia. I thought to myself that begonias do not sound like ideal deer food. According to Coast Redwood Adventures, begonias are a deer-resistant plant. Granting the caveats in the CRA article that deer-resistant is not deer-proof, I have reason to question the deer resistance of begonias based on the video evidence I have been presented.

This is probably my favorite begonia. It’s called Fragrant Falls Peach. (There’s a Fragrant Falls Lemon too) And yes, it is beautifully fragrant although you have to get close to smell it.
