RIP Beeper Mini: iMessage on Android is now truly done

The last time Beeper Mini update was just before Christmas, the app was dead for all but the most committed users. The convoluted workaround involved an old jailbroken iPhone (permanently connected to Wi-Fi). Beeper has now “disabled the ability for users to start new iMessage connections from Beeper Cloud at this time.”

Don't know why they were putting so much effort in bringing iMessage to Android when Apple itself doesn't want their app to be on these devices.
Personally, I thinks this was wasted effort from the start. If Apple wants their product on Android, they themselves can make the app. They don't need help from someone outside of their organization.
