my #beelink ser9 pro always makes a little *pop* noise like when you open a sealed jar when it gets up to temp after having been shut down overnight. i think the aluminum case is doing that. it's kinda fun.

Aaaaand now the #Ubuntu 24.04.4 server installer kernel panics when it gets to where it asks you for username, servername, etc.

I'm sure a .5 will come out soon but... Disappointing.

Or maybe it's my machine? I hope to heck not. It's only a few months old i9 from #beelink which I've had outstanding luck with thus far.

Guess I'll try 25.10 - tomorrow :)

I’ve tried installing linux on a Beelink SEi12 i5 today and have only been able to get to the uefi interactive shell.
i’ve been able to boot to linux live iso’s and its installed perfectly fine. but on reboot the computer cannot see the os.

anyone with a successful install on their beelink out here? i am unlucky so far today.
