Clement, church father, writes on action figures! Women would spend more money and attention on dolls of Thersites (Iliad character) than on their husband, or even or a noble, elderly woman. More money was spent on designer dog breeds than noble men.

Do we spend more time in stores that sell bobble heads than with the elderly, or orphaned children? Do we esteem action figures more than our own family. Does anything ever change?
