Benny Beagle working my Mom over for a snackum. Do you think it worked?
May 19, 2026. Glens Falls, New York.
Thousands of #beagles are bred in factory farms for a life of laboratory agony.
We must use the momentum from the rescue of 1,500 dogs at Ridglan Farms—one of the largest breeding facilities in the U.S.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has the power to close Ridglan Farms for good and release the remaining beagles, but he needs a massive spotlight to force him to act.
Our community can dismantle these torture labs one at a time—starting in the U.S. and triggering a global ripple effect to end this cruelty forever.

One thing I don't understand about Government's paranoia about #jury trials and nullification, is that they aren't and never were instant "get out of jail" card for #defendants (even if some jurors may be sympathetic).
For instance out of those liberating #beagles from an #animaltesting lab, many suspects were sent before #CrownCourt - some got acquitted but others found guilty, and it seemed to be a complete lottery as to what happened.
I was on jury service myself in 2023, and I admit the amount of disruption it caused to my life made it harder for me not to look for reasons for finding defendants guilty (unless it was something like eco/left political protests/animal rights)
(In the end I was discharged without being put on a jury as the Court couldn't find any shorter cases)
