Finally(!!) I can post this. Everyone: My take on Kingdom Hearts' Wayfinder pendant as mentioned by Aqua in KH: Birth of Sleep. Of course, it's not a true duplicate, but hey, at least I tried!
I made this mid-April as a birthday gift to a die-hard Kingdom Hearts fan, and they finally got it last night.
The petals are brick stitch while the star is polygonal peyote. The rings are maybe 22 gauge.

Alright! For #ArtAdventCalendar 2024, I got some nice art to show off, starting with this beaded pendant! Made with traditional peyote on 8/0 Delica beads, then finished with a coordinating star flower made from 8/0 seed beads.
I finished this Sunday! The main body is made with what I assume are 6/0 cylinder beads, whereas the flower is made from 8/0 seed beads. I got an aluminum bicycle chain to hang this from, as you can see. Looks quite spiffy. ππ

Nephew No. 2 asked me a few days ago to make him a beaded rope, and I happily obliged. He picked out the seed beads, and I strung them to a 24 in. length. He gave it a test run a few days, and according to him, he has been getting lots of compliments.
The pendant is the Fanfare Pendant from the Starman TrendSetters pattern line. I made this as a test run of the pattern a few months ago, and I thought it would be a neat addition to the necklace. Coordinating while contrasting, it adds visual appeal to the piece.

An green aventurine thumb stone put into a beaded netting bezel and strung together with matching rondelle beads, and 8/0 and 11/0 beads. The piece measures 18 inches, with plans of an extender chain/clasp the moment I can find my jump rings. π
Traditionally, aventurine symbolizes fortune and luck, and has been called a "gambling stone" in many circles. Funnily enough, I was finishing this necklace as one of my nephews was trying to defeat Aventurine on Honkai: Star Rail. π

First finished project of 2024! Pattern is Carole Ohl's PericΓ³n, available on Etsy. I felt the Red Pear colorway would be a great fit with the Antique Bronze finish of the Cymbal Lygia bail, and I was right! The rose gold crystal pearls add a bit of warmth and coordinate with the 11/0. All in all, a delightful piece.
