Got a chance to give my newly crafted Big Scary Strap a try the other day. Gave a certain lady a few tentative strokes with it. She... didn't care for it, unfortunately. Too much force gets focused on the tip, so it's kind of a dull thud with an asymmetrical sting on the outside of one buttock. Which I totally get why she wasn't crazy about, that's not the kind of spanking I wanna give (or receive).

Starting to think that just maybe there's a technique to using heavy straps that I haven't quite gotten the hang of yet. Anyone wanna HMU with some pointers? Is there a trick to distributing the sensation more evenly?

Spent all my spoon's today and I'm passed out on the sofa with a cat on my lap, so not gonna bother with taking a decent picture. But hey I improved the Big Evil Strap, ya'll! Took about 6cm off the length and saddle stitched the whole thing together so the pressure came off the failed glue joint. The dimensions look a lot better now, and it feels a lot easier to wield. And I think the stitch actually adds something to the look, in all its 9mm thick evil glory.

Only my second time stitching leather, I'm super stoked that it went this relatively well. A lot to learn still, but I'm fine with that. #spanking #leatherworking #strap #bdsmdiy

I'm still here and I still make spanking toys, just fell off the mastodon wagon a bit. Let's correct that by showing a project that didn't go so well. I flew too close to the sun on this one.

The horniest part of my brain wanted a really mean, heavy strap. The kind that scares the crap out of you to look at. The kind that when it lands on your butt, you can hardly believe what is happening to you. The kind that leaves you blue and purple. So I joined 3 sheets of black leather, grabbed some purple heart and made this monstrosity. And just about everything went wrong with it.

Haven't built or posted much in a while (my unheated workshop isn't a nice place during a swedish winter), but here's a prototype fresh off the production line: A purple heart OTK paddle.

Never worked with purple heart before and it's hard to buy in Sweden, but managed to score some pieces. Not sure if this is the best use, because I think the purple color might shine more when contrasting against something, but it's still pretty cool. Pretty hard and heavy material, so this is gonna be a pretty severe implement. Possibly too severe in fact, we'll see.
