Hey handyman types!

I’ve had the grouting redone in my shower & am now warming up to painting the bathroom. I’m pretty sure the skirtings & architraves are mdf (😩) or similar, & think it might be worth replacing a couple which seem to have swelled. I’m hoping I can get lengths cut & mitred for me when I buy them. I’ve looked up videos on removing, without damaging plaster etc. anything else I need to know?

I’m aware of safety issues around mdf.
