After waking up at the Hyatt Centric, we took a vaporetto to Venice's San Marco to visit the Museo Correr, followed by the Basilica di San Marco after lunch. We returned to the hotel via the Grand Canal to end the day.

I took this in 2022 at Saint Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco) in Venice. St. Mark's Basilica traces its origins back to the year 828 AD when the revered Saint Mark relics were either transported or, regrettably, misappropriated from Alexandria. A bad fire swept through the edifice in 976, but by 978, the church was reconstructed.
