Is it still DX'ing if you use a KiwiSDR? (Sure it is) The local SE Michigan KiwiSDR, "misdr" or "Pembelton Farms", picked up 5000 watt WKZO 590 kHz Kalamazoo instead.

It's always entertaining to listen to the Blue Jays, you can tell in an instant as soon as there's a out ("oot").

Baseball DX, #KOA Denver 850 AM. Rockies playing someone, I guess there have been a lot of home runs in the game. Spring training statistics are not particularly important.

Last year's reliable #KiwiSDR is offline, but KOA is an easy pickup from the #KA0GBG system in nearby suburban Lakewood, Colorado with the meter at S9+20.

Looking forward to opening day.

I should be able to pick up AM 1100 in SE Michigan, and my usual local SDR "misdr" just north of here has a pretty fair signal. I can catch the signal at home on my Youloop but it sounds better via remotes.

Seattle Mariners spring training #baseball on #KIRO AM 710. Home opener 22 days away against the A's. Listening on a KiwiSDR on Whidbey Island, Oak Harbor WA.

Spring training is an opportunity to make sure your baseball DX stations are dialed in for remote KiwiSDR listening during the season.

710 AM is weak on my home SDR, but I get #WOR 710 New York on KiwiSDR "misdr2" nearby. The adjacent channel #WLW 700 Cincinnati is considerably stronger here in SE Michigan.

Listening to baseball on the radio. #WLW 700 kHz via an #Airspy HF+ and a #YouLoop antenna. Transmitter is about 200 miles direct from here, nearly due south along I-75.

There is some noise under the signal but it's very copyable.

Cubs leading the Reds 14-6 bottom of the 7th inning.

KCSP is an AM station with "only" 5000 watts, but it's S9+50 into KiwiSDR #KD4HSO in Overland Park, KS (less than 5 miles away from the transmitter, if I read the map right).

Listening to Royals-Angels, currently reviewing a contested 2-run HR (call on the field overturned).

The Royals are a difficult catch otherwise on KiwiSDR, there are just not a lot of strong stations in their network, and just not a lot of KiwiSDR installations in KS/MO/IA/NE.
