Non è successo niente: questo il pensiero di Filippo Inzaghi dopo la sconfitta di Pescara, che ha interrotto una striscia di 14 gare di fila senza neanche un ko. Il tecnico rosanero ha presentato la partita con il Mantova, in programma domani sera, parlando in conferenza stampa allo stadio Renzo Barbera. “Speriamo che il prossimo scivolone sia tra quattro mesi – sottolinea Inzaghi -. Non c’è problema a ripartire, sono sereno. Dopo tutto quello che abbiamo fatto poteva arrivare una giornata storta e così è stato, ma non pregiudica tutto quello che è successo prima: la classifica è molto buona e dobbiamo ripartire, bisogna semplicemente ripetere quello che abbiamo fatto prima di Pescara. Quando ho firmato per il Palermo ero convinto che in due anni saremmo tornati dove meritavamo e lo sono tuttora: per il rush finale saranno fondamentali sia la testa che le gambe, ma sono convinto che la squadra ci arriverà pronta perché tutti stanno bene e hanno qualità importanti”.
Il tecnico torna poi sul ko dell’Adriatico: “Il 2-1 non è un gol che una squadra come la nostra può prendere, ma può capitare: abbiamo analizzato gli errori e sappiamo di non doverli ripetere. In un campionato normale con questi punti saremmo primi o secondi: ogni partita è un nuovo esame, l’importante è che questo passo falso rimanga un episodio a sé. In trasferta ci manca qualcosa, mentre in casa abbiamo un ruolino di marcia da Serie A”.
Per la sfida con il Mantova “dipenderà tutto da noi, quando siamo al 100% e affrontiamo le partite nella maniera giusta le cose vanno bene mentre quando la giornata è negativa facciamo fatica – prosegue Inzaghi -. Queste sono quel tipo di partite che temo maggiormente: preparare le gare con Monza, Venezia e Frosinone è più semplice per un allenatore, ben diverso è prepararle contro squadre con l’acqua alla gola”.
L’ultima riflessione è sull’accoglienza dei tifosi domenica sera, nel piazzale del Barbera, dopo la prima sconfitta in quattro mesi: “È stato un gesto di grande intelligenza, di chi ha capito il momento e tutto quello che ha fatto questa squadra: ci siamo meritati questo affetto proprio per quello che avevamo fatto nelle partite precedenti e per l’anima che abbiamo dimostrato”.
