So I wanted to report that each time I go to BankWest's website I get a suspicious connection to Adobe at the login screen.

The contact us part say to send a message on the online banking. Fine, I log in and click on the button (in Firefox, with a lot of security) and nothing.

Okay, let's be crazy and use Edge because it has nothing installed and only the security Microsoft allows (except in a Private Window). Nope same problem.

I am not a security expert but I would like my banks not to be sending data to Adobe, and to limit JavaScript and cross site cookies! Like seriously, when it does not work on Edge in Windows you know it is bad. HSBC also has this issue where I need to run a Live CD to get messages. Meanwhile the other banks still work...(yes I have a lot of banks, chasing rates)

#bankwest closing branches is the same as #auswidebank who keep closing branches in Morayfield and North Lakes and expecting customers to bank online or via #auspost or #ATM of another bank like big 4 e.g. #CBA #bank #closure - they keep putting pressure on customers to only use internet or Post Office or ATM and rarely visit branch which is 50km away in Brisbane or Caloundra - once I had cheque banked by posting it to #AuswideBank HQ in Bundaberg which took about 2 days but worked OK - small banks are under pressure to keep closing branches because of competition from big 4 banks who have huge share of market
#bankwest is closing all its physical branches in #WA and only being #online and #callcentre - most customers (97%) only bank online and branches are almost deserted - staff will switch to a non physical role like call centre operator or computer #support or #software #developer or #web #developer #webdev which union says many are not cut out for as they are people people not nerds so may leave https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Lj-s84RVR4 #digital #bank #closure #hr #jobs #redeploy #switch huge HR problem and customer problem for older customers who are not computer literate and want physical contact with branch to help them do banking - interesting dilemma - support old with branches (costly, dying) or young with apps (cheap, growing)?
