I just visited my little clutch of fall #plants that I was so excited about, to realize I accidentally grabbed a golden columbine rather than the bushy serpentine #columbine that I reached for at the native plant place. I also grabbed some #California #fuchsia, which I have heaps of, instead of a salvia I was reaching for, because I was #excited and trying not to make my family walk around unnecessarily and not paying attention.

But I did get two different #bunchgrasses and good #salvia and a sweet #native #aster so maybe I will put the #columbines in the backyard and give the #fuchsia away and #plant the others.

The other thing I forgot was that is my hand is still stitched and bandaged after knuckle re-replacement and it's much harder than you would expect to dig in the #garden with one gimpy #hand and the other #stitched and #bandaged.
