@olaf_radicke Denn die Mehrheit der #Bahá'í lebt in Südasien und Afrika. Dort ist #Homosexualität auch heute noch geächtet.
Aber natürlich gibt es auch homosexuelle Bahá'í. Und das ist gut so.

@olaf_radicke Die Haltung der #Bahá'í zur #Homosexualität ist in der Tat irritierend.
Bis in die 1960er Jahre war Homosexualität überall strafbar und danach noch lange verpönt. Und zwar in allen Religionen.
Mein Eindruck ist, dass die westlichen Bahá'í versuchen, von dem Dogma, das ihre Gründer hinterlassen haben, ein Stück weit herunterzukommen, ohne diesen zu nahe zu treten und ohne die Einheit ihrer Religion zu gefährden.

Well, my wife's return home from stroke rehab is in many ways going well, but she is morbidly miserable about her life, why did God do this to her, obviously He's punishing her, she finds nothing positive even where she could. this is a huge life change for her to adjust to, to be sure. Meanwhile, I've gleaned insights on the work I need to do from my increased reading of the #Baha'i writings.
