Northside, an English alternative rock band from Blackley and Moston in north Manchester, was formed in 1989. They released their only album, Chicken Rhythms, on Factory Records in 1991. The band became part of the #Madchester #baggy #indierave scene.

1990 European #CD issue.
Just watched a 45 minute documentary about the #Madchester scene and its origins and it made me change my plans about what to play next. I first properly listened to this album walking alone through a Copenhagen suburb and this album will forever keep that experience in my memory. My favourite track is God's Cop with that great guitar riff.
