Ce soir, j’ai des envies de repartir au Myanmar (ex-Birmanie). Ce fut un des voyages qui m’a le plus enchantéℯ𝗲𝕖𝐞𝗲𝙚. Il y a tant de jolies choses à voir, là-bas. Le bouddhisme y est extrême. Si certains considèrent le bouddhisme comme une philosophie et non une religion, au Myanmar, le doute n’est pas permis. C’est une religion. Et au Myanmar, les bouddhistes sont l’équivalent des catholiques intégristes en France. Ce sont eux qui ont le « vrai bouddhisme » quand on les écoute.

Un site, particulièrement vaste (50 Km²) fait partie de ces lieux qui ne peuvent laisser indifférents : Bagan. Il y aurait à Bagan, presque 3000 temples et stupas, plus ou moins en ruine. Je n’ai pas eu l’occasion de faire le survol en montgolfière et je le regrette tellement. C’était horriblement cher (facilement 500 US$ pour 45 minutes), mais je crois qu’on ne peut pas regretter la dépense.
