2. Use ALT TEXT to describe the photo and what we're looking at (or what we're NOT looking at, as it were).

This "photography job" contest sounds amusing: "Applicants must not be professional photographers, must not have received payment for photographic work, and ideally should not have a strong interest in improving their skills."
