I've already made a #NewYearsResolution . . .
I think that I've been drinking "too much". So, I've resolved to drink less.
What is less?
One or none of a glass of wine (6 oz) and one or none of a 2 oz tumbler of bourbon or scotch per day.
Recently I've been drinking 1-2 of both each day.
Also going to try limiting drinking alcohol to only while eating food. Too often I've been drinking at all all hours during the day, just because.
AFAIK, I've never drank so much alcohol that I've been noticeably impaired physically or mentally but I'm pretty sure that I'd fail a blood alcohol test shortly after drinking 1-2 of each of the above.
This will also be a self-test to see if I've become an alcoholic or not.
The answer will be revealed, if I can't go a day or 2 without feeling the "need" for a drink.
I stopped smoking #ColdTurkey when I was a teenager when I decided it wasn't good for me & I believe that I can do the same with alcohol. if need be.
